Nachglut
Nachglut – You are the last of Bunker 14-East.
150 years ago the sky turned green. Nobody remembers why.
Hedda is dead. The generator has fallen silent. Behind the seals lies the rest of the bunker, locked away by a man named Brandt long before you were born. You have never seen the sky. There is nobody left to tell you not to look.
Nachglut is a story-driven idle game about what remains after the end. Start alone in the emergency light, scavenging scrap and catching condensation. Break the old seals, piece together what happened, and one day, open the door.
What awaits you
- Three epochs: survive in the bunker, follow the river to a dam, and turn a ruin into a settlement.
- A world told in fragments: diaries, orders, faded photos and chronicles. Every find fills the archive, and every answer raises a new question.
- A camp that grows: huts, fire pits, smokehouses, jobs and morale. Make choices when strangers knock or fever spreads, and watch your people at work, day and night.
- Expeditions: send teams into the fog to find ruins, abandoned camps and places that are better visited by night.
- Atmosphere: hand-made pixel art, cutscenes, and procedural sound and ambience. Best played with sound.
- Idle-friendly: autosave, and progress continues while you’re away (up to 8 hours).
About this demo
This demo covers the first three epochs, roughly 1-2 hours of play. Research, power, seasons and the first winter at the dam are coming in future updates.
Available in English and German. It runs in your browser and saves to it.
Tip: The System console (save, export/import, language, sound) sits at the very bottom of the game. If you can’t reach it in the embedded window, switch to fullscreen with the button in the bottom-right corner of the game window.
Feedback welcome! This is an early version made by a single developer. If something feels too slow, too fast, unclear or broken, please leave a comment. It helps a lot.

Was dich erwartet

There is a BUG in Epoch - 2 , CAMP - Can't build the assembly hall when i have more than 12 residents, despite having all resources and morale.
Game has soft locked beacuse of that can't progress and can't even remove residents (got 24 of them)
Thanks for the hint. Now that i am thinking of it....yeah.....having more then 22 residents....can get problematic, gonna work on a solution for that. ** Fixed for new playthroughs

Regarding the softlock....
like this? Is Tamo still on visits? He needs to leave first. He will stay approximately 5min at the fire.
not more than 22 , i could not unlock it even 13,14 or anything higher than 12
That was fantastic! One of my favourite games I've played on here. Eagerly awaiting further updates!
thank you very much :)
